Dispensary Assistant or Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dispensary Assistant to join our small and friendly team. Previous Pharmacy experience is required. The role would suit someone currently working in a community or hospital pharmacy setting or a GP practice. The role involves supporting the day-to-day running of our dispensary and duties will include dispensing repeat prescriptions, supporting our care homes, stock control, liaising with GP surgeries and providing occasional cover on the medicines counter.

Applicants must have excellent communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail, good IT skills, and have the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy environment. Minimum hours are 30 per week and we are open to offering hours up to 40 per week. A Saturday shift is required once every 4 weeks on a rota basis.
